You know how to move your life and your business forward.

My hope is that this provides you with the tools and strategies you need to navigate any sort of chaotic part of your life (because you can choose to be emotionally centered!) You can choose to see the light instead of the darkness. All you gotta do is shine a little light into the darkness.

You can choose to turn that light on!

You can choose to get back to who you truly are.

I'm here to tell you that you can gain control back. This can be one of your proudest moments of growth! I have been through it where I felt like this wasn't working for me. I felt like I was just feeling down and negative during this time of chaos. And I needed to re-evaluate how I was feeling.

I checked my routines.

I checked what I was doing to find certainty during this time.

I checked how I was leading (and most importantly leading myself) because you can't affect change in others until you're leading yourself.

I checked how I was living my life.

I started looking at history instead of headlines.

I started consuming things that made me feel alive again (instead of consuming negativity).

I started changing the meaning I was giving the situation.

I went from faith to fear.

I went from a place of panic to a place of gratitude.

I started leading myself in that way that I realized I have a social responsibility to lead other people, to help other people and not from a place of judgment, from a place of love.

I realized that I have a social responsibility, not just to my followers and not just to my team and not just to my customers, but also to my family, to my future kids. That's what I needed to figure out!

The world is in panic. We get to help them, and we have a social responsibility to be the beacon of light. When there's widespread pessimism, we get to be the optimist.

It's time to double down the positivity we spread in the world because the world needs you now more than ever before. Be the example, not a follower because this too shall pass.

This episode is about finding opportunity during a state of chaos. How do we reframe this?

I challenge you to look at this from a big picture perspective and see that this is the greatest time in your entrepreneurial journey. The greatest opportunity you have ever had is right NOW. It's right now! If you understand basic supply and demand economics, over the last 12 years there has been an increasing supply of entrepreneurs.

There's been an increase in supply of people selling widgets, products, services, whatever it is. There's been an increasing supply of it and so it's been hard to stand out in the marketplace because there's been so much noise. Well (with a global pandemic or economy crash), these things are cyclical- cycles and trends.

After business expansion comes recession…after day comes night…after Fall comes Winter. This is just how it goes. During any sort of correction in the marketplace, the supply of entrepreneurs is going to go down because they had a negative mindset take over them and they weren't too present with the people they were trying to serve and they were scared (and they backed out).

Maybe another reason is because they just didn't have the skills or strategies to get their business off the ground during that time.  There will be less and less entrepreneurs over the next few months. People are going to be weeded out by this, but the demand for what you have is going to skyrocket. The demand for what you have is going to take off more than ever before because let me guess…You sell a product or a service and that product and service helps people.

Whatever it is, it probably helps them in more ways than you think.

Your product, your service eliminates self-doubt and helps them feel like they're truly something more than they used to be.

It gives them a sense of community + love + hope and in this time of fear + panic + scarcity mindsets, isn't that the most demanded resource of all?! There's going to be less people serving and more of a demand for it. Meaning that if you stick with this and see this as an opportunity, it will be the greatest time you ever had in business because all that noise you were trying to break through before becomes easier to break through!

You start to have a voice of positivity + love + support.

You choose the lead yourself + others and you become the beacon of light for people.

All those other people that were pretending to be the beacon of light will be weeded out because they have a fear-based mindset. There's going to be a bigger demand for your services than there ever has been before, and you get to capitalize on it!

How do I do this without taking advantage of someone? It's really, really simple! Are you coming from a place of love + service or selfishness? What are you coming from when you add your value to the marketplace and to the world? Are you using it as a way to get or to give? Because people's bullshit meter is so freaking high!! They will be able to tell a mile away if you are choosing to love + support + care for them or if you're just trying to get something out of it and take advantage of an uncertain time.

I truly believe that people's transformations truly happen when they pay for something. People do not value free.

Marriages have been saved.

People have come off anxiety meds.

So many amazing testimonials have come from my services and I'm so grateful for that. (I'm not sharing that to impress you, but to impress upon you.) And they've come from what people have invested in because the transformation is in the transaction. When someone exchanges something that they value money for a service in return, they will take it more seriously. Think about it! Any time you've ever invested in something, you take it more seriously than free.

People don't value free. So, if you’re charging people for your products or services then there's nothing wrong with that! Just make sure it's done from a place of love, a place of service.

My recommendation (what I would do if I were you right now) is to serve + love + give more than ever before! What I mean by that is find creative ways to meet your customer's needs. Ask yourself, where are my customers really at right now? What are they truly feeling right now? Because a lot of times people will market to what they want to feel instead of marketing to what their customers need. Well, you must meet people where they're at. If you are talking about creating the greatest business of all time during a time of maximum pessimism, do people give a shit about that?!

NOPE! BUT if you help someone overcome obscurity and panic and scarcity during that time, do people care about that?! ABSOLUTELY! They do! So, meet people where they're at. If you want to take advantage of this opportunity, you need to add more value in terms of what people need than you ever have before!

Ask yourself:

My customers that I want to serve, where are they at right now?

What are they feeling right now?

What are they going through right now?

What are the words they need to see right now?  

What are my social media graphics/content that I'm sharing to serve their needs?

You need to take a look at what your customer is going through and how can you add value to that in a creative way.

Can you come up with a free group to help people talk about positivity?

Can you do a book club to help get people's minds focused back on things that will move their life forward?

Can you do things to help them find ways to be present with their kids at home and still homeschool them?

Can you do the different things to share on social media in terms of how they can get through this?

Can you be that beacon of light?

Do you need to share comedy?

There are SO many ways to help people right now!!

How you capitalize on all of this is you come from a place of integrity and a place of service, you do it from a place of love, a place of caring.

The overall principle of meeting your people where they're at and coming up with a new creative way to serve those people, that's what you need to be doing right now! The greatest businesses of all time were started during times of maximum pessimism because people identified a need and they served that need.

When everyone else is panicking, you want to know how to stand out on social media?! You add value!

Through your business.

Give people a smile.

Give them some comedy.

Give them a safe place to talk.

Give them something where you're giving them creative ideas to do with their kids.

Give them something to move their life forward from a place of obscurity to a place of growth!

People are here. What can you do to bridge that gap from low (how everyone is feeling) to high (where they want to be)? How can you serve them in that way? And when you come up with an idea, sit there and think about what they actually need during this time and will that idea serve them more than ever before?!

If you add value right now to the people that need you (and take advantage of this time), this is the greatest opportunity you have ever had!

You are planting seeds when everyone else is freaking out. Be the person planting seeds right now! Serve them, love them, and of course it is okay to charge for your services (if it's done from a place of service and love). There's nothing wrong with that!
