Of course, rewiring your mind is actually possible.

You can learn to become a leader and have confidence, it’s a skill you can develop.

An action that you consciously chose to condition over time eventually becomes a habit that you don’t even think about and you can do this with your thoughts and beliefs too.

Most people can very easily become frustrated or anxious because they have done so so many times that it has become a part of their subconscious mind.

You have to rewire your mind so that you change your habitual subconscious thoughts.

Most of your day is spent doing automatic tasks, like brushing your teeth and putting on shoes, things you’ve practiced so many times you don’t have to think about them to make your life simpler.

We do the same things with our emotions.

Our subconscious thoughts and emotions are automatic so if we don’t change the way they are wired, we can’t change the results that we end up with in life. If  you’re wired for failure, you can’t reach success.

There are three things to consider to figure out how your mind is currently wired.

1) Do you tend to focus on appreciating what you have or what's missing in your life?

2) Do you focus more on what you can control or what you can’t control?

3) Do you focus more on the past, the present, or the future?

The answers to those questions provide different recipes for emotions.

And if you focus on what’s missing, focus on what you can’t control, focus on the past, it will be impossible to sustain happiness long-term.

That’s not to say that focusing temporarily on what’s missing from your life to drive you towards your goals is bad, but you cannot live in that state of mine constantly or you’ll always feel behind, stressed, overwhelmed, anxious – depression.

There’s a time and place for it, but you need to figure out where you tend to live emotionally to make sure you’re feeling fulfilled.

The way to rewire yourself is to interrupt that pattern.

The simplest way to do this is to do something that changes your physiology, changes your focus, or changes how you talk about your challenges.

Focusing on something else will instantly change the pattern in your mind.

If you focus instead on what you appreciate instead of what you are missing, that will change your expectations for appreciations and you’ll feel different almost instantly.

You can also change the words you use to describe your situation.

Words carry power and every word has an emotion linked to it.

Whatever words you practice enough times become your truth.

Next week we will talk about how to create permanent changes within yourself.

If you can implement those permanent changes and also interrupt your pattern, you can change your life instantly.

It’s actually incredibly easy to rewire your mind for success.

You just need to change what you’re focusing on, change your body, and change how you talk.

The secret that makes all this easier is to live in the feelings of your wishes.

This is why successful people practice visualization.

You need to picture the things you want and live as if it has already been done.

Doing this tricks your mind, it feels those emotions as if they are real and over time rewires your brain to have the default setting of those emotions.

The goal of visualization is not to imagine a slight improvement over your bad current situation but instead to play make-believe and not settle in your visualizations but instead visualize what you truly want.

You have to live in the feelings of your wishes and create your success.

Vision is one of the fastest ways to rewire your mind because it automatically changes your physiology, focus, and language.

When you do that enough times, it becomes an unconscious habit and that's where you live.

If you get this conceptually but you have a lot of limiting thought patterns, all these subconscious beliefs that are holding you back, it may be because you are looking at changing your life through a lens of limitation.

I call this an archetype and your archetype may be set up to view success only from a place where you want to avoid failure at all costs.

So you may need to identify what archetype you’re viewing your success and dreams from.
